To get started on Maps Platform with Woolpert as your partner with a new use case, here are the steps.
Create a Google Account
If you don't already have a Google account, create one here. We recommend using an email associated with your enterprise domain rather than a gmail account. This account will be used to create the project and automatically assigned the Project Owner role.
Create a Project
Create a project by following the instructions in Google's Get Started guide. Name your Project and optionally setting a Project ID. When you get to selecting the Billing account, proceed with the instructions below.
Link the Woolpert Billing Account
Select your Enterprise Billing Account from the Billing Account drop-down—it will be named:
[Your Company] - Enterprise Billing Account - Woolpert
If you only have access to one billing account, it may be pre-selected for you. If you do not see your Enterprise Billing Account listed, contact your Woolpert account manager or email help@woolpert.io.
Enable APIs and Create API key(s)
Proceed with the remaining steps in the guide to enable the Maps Platform APIs your application will need and adding one or more API keys. For guidance on structuring your API keys and channels, see What are best practices and patterns for tracking billing and usage within Google Maps Platform? API Keys can also be found on the Credentials page in Cloud Console:
APIs and Services > Credentials
The Credentials page is also where you can create more API Keys if needed. Before you deploy your application, make sure you restrict your key to prevent unauthorized use.
Grant Woolpert project permissions
Follow the steps in this article to add our support group account to your projects - Grant Woolpert Project Access.
